RITA ROBINZINEHOST
Rita Robinzine is the host of the Rita Robinzine Show and CEO of Fanciful Films Entertainment. She is a veteran teacher and former Democratic candidate for Georgia State Superintendent of Schools in the 2014 elections.
Rita was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to DeKalb County in 1978 after the passing of her father. That year is when she became a student of the DeKalb County School District, graduating from Gordon High School in 1985. After graduating high school, she attended Spelman College where I obtained a degree in Political Science in 1989. She began my career with DeKalb County Schools where she has been employed for the past twenty-seven years. She also received a Masters of Information Technology from American Intercontinental University in 2002.
She has spent the majority of my life in DeKalb and has developed a love for it. My love for DeKalb is what motivates my desire to improve upon it being a wonderful place to live, work, and play by serving in the community. I began my political work in 2006 when I was a post holder for my district for the DeKalb Democratic Party. I then started serving as a committee member for the Democratic Party of Georgia from 2007 to 2015 stepping down from this position only to give concede to my opponent as a result of a tied vote. I am extremely proud of my serving as a delegate to the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Although Rita never married and had children, she has been afforded the opportunity to impact the lives of hundreds of young people throughout her career as a high school teacher. She continues to work with students as a teacher at Druid Hills High School. As an educator, she understands how great schools can attract businesses and improve property value.
Rita has been a proud member of New Life Church in Decatur, Georgia, for the 16 sixteen years. She serves her church by volunteering as a greeter, as a teacher who has taught teens for Vacation Bible School as well as co-taught a class to adults, and studying God’s Word with my small group. She is also members of the Longview Pointe Homeowner’s Association Board, Organization of DeKalb Educators, and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators - where she serves as the building representative.
Other memberships include the DeKalb Branch of the NAACP, Druid Hills High School PTA, and the South DeKalb Improvement Association.

Fanciful Films Entertainment Company is an American film production company, founded by actress, filmmaker, and playwright Rita Robinzine in 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. The company currently produces The Rita Show. Additionally, Fanciful Films features a programming mix of theatrical motion pictures, documentaries, specials, inspirational faith-based programs, off-network series, original programming and more.
